*review* LG ChAoS Design

Several days ago, Leeloo Graves passed me a folder of her latest release. I have to be honest I never heard of this designer prior to her sending me her items. Upon visiting her store, there seems to be an identity crisis for branding and I got over it quickly as I saw the other items in the store. It looks like she’s a slow releasing designer and offers really quite nice quality products.

It took me some time to blog this particular outfit since I don’t have many things to go with this theme. After a quick shopping trip at a few of those stores that I admire but rarely shop, I found the perfect elements. I just needed to set the scene for this post. a very popular sim comes to mind but I wanted something more unique. I found Alpha & Omega. This sim is amazing!

Loco Pocos

Since last March I’ve owned a Loco Pocos avatar. My first one was from a hunt, I believe, and Express and I lived in them for sometime. There are dozens of different avatars to customize. Yup. Customize.

You can pick up a ton of great items for your avatar. Even other content creators are designing products for the brand. For me, I used hair I already had in my inventory, Truth’s Luna hair.

Most, if not all items, are HUD driven customization. In just a click or two clothing will change colors or textures. The customization doesn’t stop at clothing either; eyes, ears, tails, emotions/gestures, and even all the fun toys that are attached.

Express’ fav toy is the tank … he likes to shoot at me.

Its a real sense of community on the sim. Yes, it is a full community. The Loco Pocos sim is amazingly designed with several places to explore and fish. Just when you think you have seen it all a hunt will begin and it is a full immersion into this tiny avatar world.

The hunts are my favs not just for the fun treats or the well organized cohesive themes but the people. Seeing everyone’s own Loco Pocos is awesome. I had no idea there are so many folks in the community … and all so very friendly!!

Its incredible stuff … something you have to experience. There even is a free Loco Poco avatar to get you addicted started.

*review* Tiny Bird

Tiny Bird is all new again with brand new textures! If you haven’t seen this store in some time, check it out again. I’m sure you will be just as thrilled as I was to see the newness! I get a kick out of the naming of the fat packs — “Great Personality” — and even the packaging — the adorable nest and eggs symbolic of the hair packs. The eggs will break upon choosing the hair colors.

Just today there are three new hairs. Over at Willis’ blog you can see them all. I love her style! Enough of me yappin’, check out Tiny Bird!

Zaara has just released her newest dress, Mahari.  This dress has amazing details.  The top has floral appliques that hide all the right parts. Mahari is offered in so many gorgeous colors! The colors can be purchased individually, in color packs or all six.

Ain’t that the Truth!

Today’s SLDD was much anticipated by Express and I (and those who hawk the flickr stream…shh its a secret tho). In the minutes leading up to the vendor’s start time, the crowd gathered and doing the pee dance.  The start time came and went and the crowd got, erm, mob-ish. Clicking the vendor repeatedly doesn’t help, btw.

Meanwhile, Express is re-checking the vendor’s scripts and we exchange IMs of “srsly. idk. wtf”. We find Truth … he comes online and the girls went weak in the knees. I kid you not. The marriage proposals flew and I think someone giggled. seriously. She giggled.

Then the comment was made “Someone should make a ‘I survived Truth’s SLDD’ “. Well, someone did. That someone is Lauren Bisiani of T Junction.  The tee is a freebie! Just like today’s event, it will be memorable.

A huge thanks goes to Truth for being such a great sport. The reason as to why the vendor didn’t work will be our secret. <3

If you haven’t gotten the hair today, get it now. you have until midnight slt to pick it up at the vendor’s location. It will be marked at the usual price after midnight. Check the SLDD site for the info. While there, it would really be worth the while to get on the SLDD mailing list. Seriously.

Nyte’N'Day has been so full of win for me lately.  If you ever see me inworld more than likely the last jeans release has been plastered to my body. (Thank god for not needing to do laundry in SL >.<) For this post, I’m showing off the most recent goodness – a super sexy mini dress called Prost and an overcoat named Moitie.

These are going to another frequently worn item in my inventory. The jacket and dress come in multiple colors and sold as separates.

Rogan Diesel is one  of the most talented pose creators on the grid. During Valentine’s day several bloggers like Berry and Zoe showed off his newest release. For this post, I’m showing a not-so-new-but-still-just-as-awesome couples pose.

Regardless of what two-person pose you choose, its about the people. The poses in his store range from sensual to friendly; perfect for anyone in your life to captue the moment. For instance, today Express and I were just chatting. Our typical day but what a great pose for an everyday occurrence.  Of course, I couldn’t resist switching the pillows to the pink textures.

GLANCE – February 20, 2010 – GLANCE International Agency (GIA), SL’s premiere fashion marketing and public relations agency, said today that it is planning an “Accessory Fair” featuring a broad range of accessories to add those finishing touches to one’s avatar.  GIA is seeking hair, jewelry, tattoo, nail and other “accessory” vendors, or other retailers that sell accessory products, to participate in this exciting event.

GIA announced that the “Accessory Fair 2010″ will run for 3 weeks, from Saturday, March 6 through Saturday,  March 27, 2010.  Three booth sizes are available, with increasing prim allotments to enable both the largest retailers and the smallest specialty shops in order to offer a range of products during this special event.

GLANCE International Agency will be actively promoting both the Accessory Fair, as well as the participating designers, doubling the value of the Fair by driving traffic and creating name and brand recognition for participating designers.

Upcoming: Opium Den by L.Fauna

Soon L.Fauna will have a new set of makeup called Opium Den. These makeups are full of rich colors and some have a soft glitter. This sparkle is reminiscent of Snow-Fae which was released back in December 2009 and was highly acclaimed. The Opium Den collection will be just as popular for sure.

Luan instantly become a favorite for Scarlet! The skin has a soft innocence. Maybe its this makeups pale lip and white smokey eyes but it surely is stunning.
