Flickr MicroBlogging

I’ve started this micro-blogging thing on my flickr stream. Well I really only did one look so it really didn’t go further than that to be honest. Since it was just this set of photos, I’ve decided to share them in today’s post.

Flickr Style 001

I’ve used this dress a few times in the past. I really love the simplicity of the dress and it can be dressed up or down. Most of the products created from this design house has this ability.

What really makes the outfit for me is the hair base under the hat. I know its an odd thing to say but I’ve struggled way too often to fit hair under hats. With 2.0, I was able to use just that layer and toss on the hat. I may even wear more hats. No more adjusting prims, feeling frustrated or wasting time fussing with hair!

  • I know I know! I wrote about hair and hats once … (http://sltransfusion.blogspot.com/2010/05/elf-recruiter.html) .. I so wish more designers would make hair designed to wear under hats. The booN hair I wore in that article is a hairpiece that can’t be worn without a hat but normally if you stretch the hat or shrink the hair, either way they just don’t look right. :) Thanks for mentioning it!

  • I’m ok with hairless hats. I’m super picky about hair but love some hat styles. I also wouldn’t mind some hair parts like low ponytails or buns – ya know, leave out the hair crown part (where the hat would go).
Thanks for the comment Serene! :)
