Sysy makes Express happy

Sysy is making guy stuff!! I sent Express over to get all the shorts. He asked me earlier today if I saw her plurk about shorts. Then he brings it up again … and then finally we saw them released. Immediately we ran over to get the full pack. The shorts are 80L and the full pack of them is 350L. That’s just awesome!!

Since Express was working on a RL project, I hijacked the blog post and took the pic myself. He was kind enough to give him his style info.

Ten Days in Brooklyn

Express was given a few of the colors from the latest release of Zaara. Even though he doesn’t blog, he’s always welcomed here. Express is being lazy, he asked me to do the photos and write up. Ok so he’s not that lazy as he was working on SLDD while I did the blogging.

We both adore Zaara and her store. Its full of vibrant colors and awesome quality. I know Express was more than happy to have more clothing. Zaara’s is one of the few stores that he will raid when new releases appear for guys.  He’s so picky!

Posy Trudeau of Civvies and Miau Haus fame has a new venture – Homespun. Inspired by the Depression era of United States, most of her clothes have a very simple, old-fashioned feel but can easily be mixed in with a modern wardrobe.

Homespun opened its doors to the public today at noon with a party and gifts.

Released just moments ago, MaCe, joins the quickly growing men’s skins line at Dutch Touch.

MaCe has three different face options: Basic, Eye Tattoo, and Goatee. This skin was released in three tone: Cream, Olive, and Cocoa.

Dutch Touch has a nice and easy approach to skin development. Not releasing the full line at once but rather a few tones or faces over time. Now the collection is four different skins all with several options.

Just like the women’s skins, this growing collection is well designed and highly acclaimed. Btw, Iki tells me there are new women skins in beta.

Earlier this week, Belleza welcomed a new skin, Thomas, to the men’s collection. The store is usually busy with people but since this release, there have been more people visiting.  I’m pretty happy to own a skin collection as its a perfect compliment to my shape.

With the launch came a group gift. For a small entrance fee, 250L, you can also own the Thomas skin.  The group gift was a hit … I can’t wait to see more men in this skin line. I, for sure, will use this skin collection in my upcoming posts. Very well done!

*review* Moonshine

The lovely Miss Shelly Toonie sent me some of her men’s classics and pulled me out of blogging retirement. I was having a so-so time looking for items that weren’t so tired. The hunt for everyday wear seems like such an effort for guys around the grid. Its either tees, we have enough to last a few pixelated lifetimes, to ripped jeans. Another odd discovery, our clothing is so rarely created on all the layers like women’s fashion. At Moonshine, Shelly’s store, the clothing is just the opposite. With the different layer options available, I gladly will mix and match these with her other items and ever those currently in my inventory.

*Review* Manifest Shapes

Hi there. Its me, Ranger. Luna finally let me post something. She and Scarlet have been hogging the blogging spotlight lately.  With the Skin and Shape Fair starting on Saturday, I had to sneak in to blog my find from Manifest Shape.

hmm … I do blog here. Well look at that.  Let me tell you alittle about tonight’s adventure. Express just had to drag me out for some shopping. I know it sounds odd but really he was all “Dude. Shop.” *sigh* Fine. I gave in. I could hear Luna laughing at me in the background. Anyway, first stop was Zaara’s for the awesomeness that is all things Zaara.  After teasing Berry, I picked up the fat pack of the new chinos for a mere $775.  The best part – they’re unisex so Luna can squeeze her big ol’ bottom in them too.

Since I only had on my pink panties from the last time I was at Zaara’s, I tossed on the chinos instantly. Before I can ask “Where to next, Boss”, Express had on the newness from .:StoRin:..  I was totally jealous until he reminded me that I also had a package waiting in my inventory. Yup, gotta love that pretty little girl, Annah!

She recently got into the whole Men’s clothing line … and I love her for it. The argyle sweater is called Leo and the third creation for .:StoRin:. Men. Now these won’t be out until tomorrow. I recommend stalking the store until they are released.

I’m off to watch over the chickens since Luna’s being lazy. At least I can read the ShopaholicFeed Network and wait for the votes to come in on The Throwdown.

Annah Whitfield, my beloved friend and owner of .:StoRin:., has started to design for the guys. She is starting out with some basics – a tee and a collared shirt. Both come in a wide range of colors and in all the layers. Yes, guys can have all the layers too … finally!

*Review* Reek

I had the honor of meeting Riq Graves on plurk.  We had a few exchanges, nothing of note until a hair sale.  That’s when I knew he knew his stuff. Soon after he was plurking about his store opening.  With a mini presskit of sorts in hand, Express and I raced over to see for ourselves.  We were both pleasantly surprised by his store, Reek.  Just like any other designer just starting, its small and packed with a ton of personality.

Express is wearing the different available belts.  Eventho he forgot to remind to me talk about it, the belts are mod with either script resizeing or ol’ manual way.  Yup, how freakin’ cool! Gotta love that!  Another great feature  most of the tees come on all the layers!
