Remembering How to Blog

Heya. Express here. I took over the blog again. It’s not often I get excited about clothing releases. Call me conversative, old-fashioned, or just plain boring but I just like the basics. Tees and jeans are my go-to thing. So it was a bit funny to realize that FATEwear’s teases last week made me excited to actually go out and get clothes in SL for the first time in a long while.

Hijacked

By Express Zenovka  //  Clothing, Fashion, Men's Fashion  //  No Comments

It’s been forever since I last had to write a fashion post. I’m a big fan of fall clothing, since I prefer the richer, subdued tones of the season. These new offerings from Naith Smit were a perfect way to start the season.

The Playboy Blazers, which come with both long sleeves and rolled up sleeves, are a good way fend off the chill during fall. I prefer the subtly of the black piping, but they’re available with more eye-catching white piping as well.

Express takes over my blog!

My favorite new release, though, is the Gallagher parka. They just look warm and comfy. The parkas come with two variants, plain and Mod. The latter has pins and a logo on the back. I’m a minimalist, though, so I stuck with the plain version and paired it with another of Naith’s new releases, the Tundra Scarf.

Belleza Group Gift

By Ranger Theas  //  Fashion, Men's Fashion  //  2 Comments

There’s something about … Shawn. He’s one of the newest additions to the Belleza skin line. This skin has a different aura than the past release. Shawn has a certain ruggedness.

Men Layering

By Ranger Theas  //  Fashion, Men's Fashion  //  2 Comments

This post is all about the layering. This is why I keep pleading to designers to create clothing on all layers. Without having all the layers, I would have not been able to create this look.

Ranger LOTD 1004

Most of all the layers were used (except undershirt). I’ve even changed the attach points for the scarf and shirt cuffs. I particularly love the shirt cuffs falling out of the tailored jacket. Prim cuffs and details is another must have for me. Especially pant cuffs! I’ll inspect the vendor before buying to see if in fact there are pant cuffs.

All the details and attach points are listed after the cut with an aerial view of the location & style details.

Savile Row

By Ranger Theas  //  Fashion, Men's Fashion  //  2 Comments

This week’s Fifty Linden Friday included a few things for the guys. Finally guy stuff, not chick stuff that could pass for us guys. This post is just for this one designer as its a full outfit for just 50L.

Ranger FLF

I think the plaid trouser with the bright argyle sweater is ideal. There’s nice detailing on the sweater giving a ribbed appearance. Sweater and pants can’t stand alone to be used in other outfits. For the 50 lindens, its a steal!

Hopefully as this brand grows, in their regular priced items, they will add all the layers for each element. I think that including full layers will surely set this brand apart from all others.

You can click on thru for the remainder of the post for the style credits. I’ve been planning to post more items from my shopping trips for additional guy related posts.
