PXL: Dafne

Hart Larsson, owner of PXL, has just released this beauty named Dafne. She comes in 4 tones with 27 makeups. I know was completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of skins.

Let’s breakdown the skin options:
4 tones: LightTan, SunKissed, Natural, Pale
3 brows: Dark, Medium, Light
7 lip colors: Nude, Pale, Bronze, Pink, Wine, Rose, Passion
3 eye makeups: Nude, GLAMt, Extreme

To shop for these skins, it can be daunting since there are so many to choose. If you don’t instantly opt for the fat packs and rather pick a few you like, here’s a quick way to choose:
1 – Find the tone right for you
2 – Pick the makeup that jumps out at you at first glance
3 – Choose the one (or the packs) you like best

You’ll notice I didn’t mention eyebrow in those quick steps. In each purchase, you’ll receive:
a – 3 skins (one in each brow color)
b – Freckles (on a tattoo layer)
c – Cleavage (on a tattoo layer and an undershirt)

Tuli’s Audrey

Tuli will launch another stunner called Audrey on Wednesday, August 11th. The VIP group has already seen a sneak at the beauty. For us, on this blog, we got to see the makeups and little surprises Tuli created.

We are always in love with the makeups and overall skins. This time Tuli added in tattoo layers for this release. The added layers are for matted and gloss lipsticks, lashes and cleavage. These items only work with this skin and in viewers that support the tattoo layers.

For me, I showed off the skins using no tattoos and you can see how stunning they are without the added features … well except cleavage. Guess what skin is the VIP group gift …

Lola’s Colors

Lola is full of color. So much so that I think I broke my CS5′s gif makerthingamajig. Please be prepared for some serious photo spam. You’ll just have to forgive me just this one. This skin deserves something and this something is a photo-montage.

Miss Launa Fauna will be launching Lola’s 2nd makeup pack very shortly. I love that she keeps her makeups in small packages of 5. Its manageable and small enough quite easily to fall in love with each of the personalities.

The incoming photos (after the cut) will make it quite clear as to why I’ve followed this skin created fro the past 3 years. L.Fauna, as its known today, was the first skin brand I religiously trailed. Just recently, she’s become a great friend of mine. Regardless of the friendship, the dorky fangirl still slips out when I see new makeups … and usually in-front of her. wow. I’m a dork.

Her name was LOLA

L.Fauna gave us all a teeeeny little teaser a week ago on the new face.  As mentioned in my last post, its exciting to see a long time fangirled skin creator making updates to their skin line. LOLA is exactly that!

This new face has a few pleasantly surprising and lovable updates. They are so minor and look stunning on so many faces.  When I was seeing the skin during production I kept oohing and ahhing. Kinda embarrassing now.

LOLA’s first edition of makeups are due out very very soon. The first pack is 5 makeups. In this post, I’ll show only 2. Surely in upcoming posts you’ll see more but for now just the two.

Photo Contest – L.Fauna

L.Fauna has a new face and her name is LOLA. If you’re like me, you wore the LOLA teaser since its launch this past Friday. I’m really quite excited to see the skins released without the bodysuit (and full priced). Also, just this evening, I was given the sneak peek at the first fat pack of the new LOLA. Boy, is she gorgeous!!

Exodi: Isolde

Isolde is such a beautiful name and ideal for this innocent faced skin. Exodi released a little teeeeny little sneak peek to the VIP group just a few days ago.

The group gift is just one makeup in all the skin tones. It comes with two different brow colors (light and dark) and the two cleavage options. Guess what ones I picked … they don’t call me “Luna Boobilee” for nothing!

Now let’s keep our fingers crossed for the next option to be freckles. I love me some freckled skin!

Skin Review: PXL Candy

A few weeks back, maybe even a month or so ago, I received a demo pack of the new PXL Candy. The purpose was to provide feedback. This is nothing new for me. Over the years of doing skin reviews, I’ve been asked for my opinion prior to many skin releases. I typically offer, like my reviews, very honest constructive feedback.

I was so more than elated to see the new skins in their pre-production glory. I did offer very open thoughts on Candy with raw pictures even. A few notes passed back and forth and weeks go by I forgot about Candy. Honestly, I did.

Then I saw the group notice of her release. I got excited all over again. PXL is on my very short list of skin creators I adore. Adoration is beyond love for me. Its complete happiness. And Candy is exactly that – happiness.

Tuli VIP gift: Tanya

Tanya, a new darker skin line soon to be released, is available at Tuli for group members only. I’m really happy to see this brand starting to dabble in the darker tones. Scarlet, my alt, was brought on to my blog just for this reason. I needed another av to showcase those colors and tones that I don’t typically wear. So many designers are beginning to branch out allowing us to be more diverse. Its a great thing!

Exodi Skins: Gifts & Preview

Just days ago, Exodi had in its SOM a gift – Lily V2. Lily is this brand’s most talked about skin and its getting a body makeover. This new version is just stunning; just like the original.
