Wait no longer all you Exodi skin stalkers! Ryker Beck, FINALLY, released Sophie. After the first plurk, I was like “oh can’t wait” but by the 5 or 18932 (slightly exaggerated, slightly) I was like “COME ON!”. (This is the time when I need those troll plurk emotes.) She’s here and ain’t she just so stunning?

Sophie comes in 10 tones and its packed with awesome add-ons! When you purchase whatever tone(s), you’ll find in the box:

Since I’m a huge freckle hoar and layered Sophie up like a champ, I did do a raw shot of the skin with no freckles on my flickr. Also, I used my Springscape windlight for this photo. You’ll notice that tiny little mole is really on the skin. Moles that are done like this are another downfall of mine. Its the perfect place on the face.

Curio’s Summer

Summer is one of the three newness lines at Curio. I’ve picked up Airhead earlier this weekend. I don’t think I’ve yet to vocally profess my love for Curio skins on my blog… that is until now. I know I blabbed with my friends and some readers but never officially here. To save everyone, I won’t but rather let the photos show my adoration.

A little bit about Curio before you have her climb into bed with you. Each skin regardless if you pick up the insanely low priced magapacks or single makeups, there are two faces for each makeup. I think of this as a dramatic makeup and one for everyday. Its the same colored makeup but one’s just bolder than the other. When you choose one of the 5 main tones you’ll receive the light and dark version of that tone. Right off the bat, that there is a terrific bargain and I didn’t even mention the freckled version of all those skins.

Don’t panic if the boobies aren’t for you or the brows are too light. There are some addons for the skin lines. The cleavage (not show here) work for all the lines since mid-June. The skins do come with a dark brow tattoo.Surprisingly, I thought the cleavage that is on the skin was just fine for me. And you all know I love my boobs!

Mourning Black

Black is the color for mourning and one of my favorite colors. I even had a full-on black period, like, 3 years ago in SecondLife. Something about the darkness is so alluring for me. I just love it. I even love it more when two designers who I keep my eye on release goodies in this color.

The party dress is from Addict and comes in plenty of colors. Most are vivid and fresh for the season even-though I choose the doom and gloom of black. I couldn’t resist either cuz of the new jewelry from Naith Smit Design. Ain’t it just vavavoom?!

I seldom change my hair color but this post and this skin it was a must in my opinion. Another rarity is photographing the goth makeups. Check out ISPACHI for other tones and makeups. Just like the Addict dress, there are more happier makeups and darker tones.

I may just feel another black era coming on again. If only I can persuade Kyoot to bring back her all black sim. This photo still remains my favorite from that point in time from that sim. I love the old photos, good memories.

When the stars and moon …

When the stars and moon align, good things happen. I was thrilled to see Ren, the new soon-to-be-released skin from Grixdale. Seeing this skin on was the first good thing. The second, the photo.

There really wasn’t much of any sort of tweaking of this photo. I did overlay two different windlight settings and some smudging to smooth out the hair and the avatar mesh around the nose. The original photo (cropped only) is on my flickr. I kept some of the goofy shadow bugs to show off the skin without heavy photoshop techniques.

I can remember first meeting Tyr when she had this tiiiny little shop & fangirled her work. Even when she shared with me her first ever skin. It feels so good to see her grown and create an awesome skin over a short amount of time. I’m just so proud of her!

L.Fauna Lea

L.Fauna is just about to release the newest line named LEA. Ain’t she pretty?!

This skin will be released as a base skin with several different makeups. Launa did another unique addon. The skins are packaged with different breast sizes (aka cleavage) and freckles. Also, there are nine tones! Nine! Three pales, tans and darks. This brand is one of the few that creates a deep dark tone. It’s so stunning!

Oh, so love. This is the pale version of the Aiko, the new Belleza. After the swooning over the lastest group gift, we waited for the full release of Aiko. With 15 different makeups and over a half dozen different tip tattoos, I’m totally satisfied.

Skin & Shape Expo Opens

I ran around the Skin and Shape Expo 2011 a littler earlier. My inventory is bursting with demos and fat packs. I found a ton of designers that are new-to-me. This is one of those. This skin is from Esk-Imo. I thought this brand to be really cute and a touch ethnic. I think it looks great for us pale folks.

oh so love

Love isn’t strong enough for this new Exodi skin. It just isn’t.

Sylvan, the skin’s name, was drooled over on plurk so many times. Each time the skin was plurk the pictures were less and less WIP and more and more looking like a vendor. I knew the release was getting close. I did make the “O” face when I heard the skin will be officially released tomorrow.

When’s Spring

My dear sweet Caroline has been leaving me these cute little IMs asking when’s spring. I’m a debbie-downer when I tell her to hold on a few weeks. I feel like such a meanie head now that I did this very spring-y feeling photo.

PXL. new skin. love. Linda G3 is awesomesauce. I actually had several compliments over the weekend when wearing this skin. Like in my prior post, I promised to show off this skin. I did add in the new lashes from Chaisuki but the rest is all PXL yumminess.

Do you know what hair that is?! If so, you’re too cute <3 If not, go see Clawtooth. Its super adorable stylized hair especially this new release. If you ever get to talk to Bubbles, you will be smiling for a long time. Its always a pleasure to have Bubbles in IMs. The hair paired with Ingenue’s new shirt was perfect for telling the story of spring for this photo.

Now I’m off to find my pants … I swear this photo started with me wearing jeans. Promise.
