Releasing Today: Exodi – Stephanie

Exodi Stephanie Exodi is finally releasing Stephanie! After several months and a few teasing, we finally get to have her all to ourselves. This is the first skin for 2010 … its going to be such a great year!

Today, March 13, 12pm-2pm slt, there is a huge ol’ launch party at the new sim: Exodi. Here’s a cool giveaway, if you purchase one of the Stephanie skins, you’ll have a chance to win one of the five BYO fat packs of 8 skins. This is an awesome opportunity to hopefully win those skins you have always wanted but never purchased.

~unreleased~ Tuli – Eva

TuliI’m super picky and choosy on what skins I blog. Very few designers have been able to capture my attention. Tuli is one of those designers on that very short list.

Tuli’s Eva,to be released on March 18, will be shown off with the sim opening. Journey, the store’s sim, has always been very well staged for such stunning work. I’m really looking forward to seeing the new landscaping.

Before the launch, be sure to check out Tuli. You’ll find some of the skin lines discounted as well as the clothing in the temporary location high above the clouds.

Ok so alittle about Eva. The makeups are more dramatic in this line. Even the most “natural” looking face packs an impressive punch with its pale tones and soft under-eyeliner. I’m a makeup girl so any of my favorite skin designers have me at the “natural” face. I think if this base face is done well the rest of the faces will be amazing.

With that being said, go now to get the current skin lines marked at a discount and come back in a week for the sim reopening to see Eva. What a great name for such a beautiful name.

Upcoming: Opium Den by L.Fauna

Soon L.Fauna will have a new set of makeup called Opium Den. These makeups are full of rich colors and some have a soft glitter. This sparkle is reminiscent of Snow-Fae which was released back in December 2009 and was highly acclaimed. The Opium Den collection will be just as popular for sure.

Released just moments ago, MaCe, joins the quickly growing men’s skins line at Dutch Touch.

MaCe has three different face options: Basic, Eye Tattoo, and Goatee. This skin was released in three tone: Cream, Olive, and Cocoa.

Dutch Touch has a nice and easy approach to skin development. Not releasing the full line at once but rather a few tones or faces over time. Now the collection is four different skins all with several options.

I’m in love with L.Fauna skins. There I said it. I’m even more excited for the upcoming makeups. This one, Winterberry, was worn in this month’s Glance magazine (pages 212-217)  and now here. This skin is still in beta and still just as stunning.

Scarlet is thrilled to have Fiona in her skin collection. This skin lends itself so well to many shapes and does will in any lighting. There are very few skinners on the grid that can perfect a warm deep tone this dark. Free Speerit really nailed it with the launch of Fiona and now with the new additions to the line. Tuli’s Bella skin has been talked about since its release earlier this month. Scarlet and I tested out the skins … and worked up this little pic.

This type of hybrid skin makes it one of the more unique skins Tuli offers. Its has a blended balance between realistic/photosourced and the hand-drawn softness. I do have to ‘fess up that I didn’t at first fall in love with Bella since it has more of the photosourced feel. It was over time I grew an appreciation for the skin and the makeups. Of course, me testing it out first delayed this post. Please remember I’m not a fan of change so it will take me some time. This doesn’t mean I don’t like the skin, its just different – in a good way.

Bella photographs so beautifully. I tested her out in various lighting and settings and have yet to see an issue with shadows or “blemishes”. In case you haven’t seen the new skin, please do head over to Tuli to get the demo, wear it for some time and then go back to buy. With any change in skin lines, I encourage you to test drive. I’m sure you will see what I mean and enjoy the skin after wearing.
