Kudos :: !! Luna Jubilee !!

I head over to Flickr to check on comments and whatnot, I see “one new flickr mail”. Eh, it probably someone looking to be ‘friends’. I don’t look instead I go thro my comments and contacts’ pics … whatever, super casually just browsing. Finally, I check the mail. Not sure who or what or whatever …. then it smacks me!

HOLY MOLY I WON A CONTEST!

Do I dare let you in a secret? I have no clue what I am doing in Photoshop … I just fiddle with the little slidey thingies until I like what I see…. Is that not terrible?!

Oh My Name in Lights! (Spork Tanx)

Now here’s an interesting post – a Kudos for me!  GM Nickolaidis, owner of Spork & my long time friend, sends out a silly group conference asking for models.  Now the catch was that it was only 3 models in the chat … and oh – he only needed 3. Go Figure.  I just finished another shoot, so eh, why not. GM always has something cool going on… so I popped over to check it out.

The lovely Olyvia, top model at LBD, and Barbara, GM’s beautiful wife, were also on the beach when I arrived. (Me arriving fashionably late.)  He gave me several folders loaded with layers.  I tossed on onefolder then I started mixing and matching the colors of other folders … and of course wrangled myself into a bikini bottom.

I’m still floored that GM asked me to model for the poster.  I had a blast! Here’s the finished pic … and oh yeah – go check out Spork and pick up a few of his designs.  No drooling over the pic either … ok you can … just clean up the floor before you leave.

Kudos to Me!

Nyla Cheeky, the owner of House of Nyla, asked to use my lingerie pic in her store. I was completely stunned!! Go check out her store to see the snaps hanging up …

I’m really not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I do enjoy creating pics with some post-processing in photoshop. Funny that this one has no post-processing just the basic layers and viola!. Something about this lingerie set that just, IDK, like it just came together for the pic.

So go check out the pics in her store … I am so flattered to have been asked. And now proud to have this hanging in her store.  Kudos to me!

Thanks bunches and bunches Nyla!! I still adore that lingerie set :)

Yay Me!

SL won’t let me back in … so I resorted to Twitter, Yahoo and Skype … and amazingly all at the same time while keeping up with offlines in email.
Yeah it sucks not being in-world with everyone else … I was able to catch up on emails, behind-the-scenes blogging, and beating a friend at literacy!
While on yahoo, someone sent me this link.
Kinda made my night … its nice to see my stuff getting recognized. *grin* Not only do I love this outfit but its great marketing for my Flickr account and me and Pheobe’s baby, SLFashionality.

I Got THE Letter!!

YEAH ME!! I got accepted to be an SL Mentor! I didn’t tell anyone I applied nor did I even hint to the fact. The fear of being rejected isn’t what I don’t like … its telling people that I didn’t get the job is the hard part. So … its official – I am on my way to be an SL Mentor!!

Flattered!

By now I am sure its evident I am a Flickr freak. I am apart of a couple of Flickr groups. Either this group, Second Life – Look Of The Day, found me or I stumbled upon it at some point.
I nearly fell over when I read my mail titled “Congrats Luna”. Here I thought it was for some “enlargement” drug or to help lower my mortgage rate. (I don’t need help in either department kkthx!) Really it was Jhuzen Ketsugo, the group admin, writing to tell me I won the weekly contest! She’s one of the fashion gurus I follow taking her ideas and making them my own. The bolero was something I saw on Felice Haruka* but what really sold me was when Phebs wore it to KSU! The rest of the outfit I just randomly pieced together at some ungawdly hour of the morning (I even asked for help from my friend Catero to find bangles?!).
Ohhh I know this is a long post … tough… I am excited! :P

Naughty Designs / Naughty Island

The one design house that I regularly visit is Naughty Designs. Lost and Amby design and create anything from hair to skin and shoes to clothes. Their mall is packed!
