Exploring: East Harbour Island

A few days ago I was looking for a change in scenery when working inworld. I was offered the freedom to roam the grounds of East Harbour Island.

This sim is quiet serene with the waterfalls to the small sitting areas. The places I visited while here are rez friendly but please do clean up when finished. Others visiting the sim could also be looking for that quiet surrounding so please be mindful.

Zha Ewry and Chestnut Rau really have created such a wonderful home that is open to the public. I know I’ll be back for that zen like setting while working and of course using the sim as a backdrop for my photos.

New Blog Headquarters!

I’ve decided to claim a piece of real estate for my blog.  Its official, the headquarters opened today.  I live on the beach … so its only appropriate that a sandy locale becomes this blog’s home.

Who wants to work in an office?! pfft… beach please!

If Your Friends Jumped From a Train …

… would you? Ummm .. hellzya! Snooping through Flickr snaps, I saw so many people jumping from this train … and well I just *had* to try it.
When I arrived, I instantly fell in love with The Far Away. The rusted texutres, the tall wheat fields, and the endless possiblities for the imagination.
AM Radio created this fantastic location. As the popularity grew, he decided to give something back. With every purchase of either a wheat field, rusted car, locomotive, etc., all the monies will go Heifer International Charity.
As I was standing in the fields writing this post, more people started to appear. I stood and watched… many just came to explore, AM chatted with me for a short bit, and then someone (like me) jumped from the train! The longer I stayed the more hidden poses and animations I found … will I tell you? No. Check it out for yourself… do it all or do nothing at all … whatever it is – help support Heifer International!

Stuck … sorta
Once again, teleporting is down inworld.. and again I am stuck. But really I can’t really call it “stuck” since I am in Morocco! Just when I dusted off my virtual passport, SL decides to force me to thumb it around the world. Umm, does this mean I have to hoof it everywhere? Hmm … what shoes should I wear??!

Mount Aurora Artists Village East

This morning, my friend, GM Nikolaidis, brought me to see his art gallery (GMP Photography) and discuss future business plans. While there he showed me this beautifully designed sim, Breeze. Mount Aurora Artists Village East is a soothing setting to watch stunning sunsets, browse amazing art studios and really just get lost in the details and textures.

Midsummer's Dream

I usually go exploring myself … stopping every so often to take in some of the views and take pics. In the early morning hours, I found myself watching the sunset in Midsummer’s Dream. This sim is not only gorgeous and filled with secret cuddle nooks but the atmosphere is set by the soothing ambient music. A great place to be by yourself or take that loved one to snuggle…
