Skimming through my usual blogs, I notice Crap Mariner’s recent post. All I say is a-fuckin’-men!Â
… to have product that doesn’t have bling. I don’t want on a menu that I have to toggle or type in open chat like ass “bling off” or decontruct the item to rip the script out.
Just don’t put it in the products.
That is all.

As a blogger, I immensely enjoy *Insert sarcasm* when other bloggers start their posts with lovely phrases like “When surfing the feeds” or “I recently found on the feed” or “The feed is something I take all my fashion advice from since I can’t think for myself”… ok I made up the last statement but its really not that far from the truth. I love the feed, don’t get me wrong. It hosts a ton of talent!! Its a shame I don’t read it more regularly (I’m probably missing out on the newest fashion trends for sure).
Seriously, if you’re a fashion blogger – think for yourself. People don’t want regurgitated fashion ideas they have already seen on the feed. Be creative – think outside of the shoe box, please.

Okay here’s my scoop on the hair fair. Not diggin’ it. Either I’m overly picky or not in the cool club to appreciate the hair. Yes I over spent. Yes I did find several good wigs. Overall, I was expecting way more. It seemed like the hair is not for the mainstream or everyday wear. Its either too wild and surely over the top.
Sure these styles would be awesome for here on the blog (so I did buy some). For the most part, I will not be wearing them out and about … and certainly not on dates (eek I’m dating!).
The other side of this rant is the textures. Surprisingly, I didn’t like many designer’s textures but loved the style. Yes, I’m a chestnut brown hair color chick and picky. When I find a style, I look for the color pack and buy. Easy. Well back at the studio, I toss on the hair only to be disappointed. The brown has a green tint. WTF? Green? So I try the other two tones in the pack. Red? Pink? I see the brown but these other tones are highlighted into the texture. Really this can’t be right. I go back … yup. That’s it … and immediately filed in “never wear” folder.
Here’s another rant: flexi hair with alpha prims. Need I say more? Can someone explain this hainusness? I mean really? I don’t like to spin around to see the outline of my skull. Its hair. I should see the prim hairstyle and not be distracted by the curve my head. My other “fav” is the texture is made invisible on the reversed side. Umm hello! If I was do another angle than “straight on” … It would look like I had missing parts of my hair. Well doesn’t that just defeat the purpose of having the hair?!?!
Overall, the fair was good… just not great. Will I go back to look again to give it another chance. Sure, but not any time soon.
**RL – I love that it was to support a good cause – Locks of Love. Many of you know I’m a cancer survivor. Just recently, I was diagnosed with another cancer and have undergone more biopsies and testing. In the years between, I’ve grown my hair for donating. Please, do check out Locks of Love for your next haircut. Many salons will provide the cut for free (just ask) and usually on special days. Or you can go to any stylist with form and instruction sheet in hand, they will gladly cut to the guidelines. Also, when I last donated 14 inches (yes I had only 2 inches left and loved it), I learned Locks of Love will take in any length donation as it offsets the cost of manufacturing. This is how they are able to keep the cost of wigs to FREE. Please do consider donating – its free – and someone out there will appreciate it.
I’m BORED! SL has become utterly boring for me … its beyond dull.
Tiny Empires is chuckful o’ lacklustery goodness – surely not like it use to be … what is the deal with the new Trader schedule and now 40+ independent Kingdoms?! Geez, I even pulled out this old pic that I did when I first joined Sparta (funny that I didn’t have a title then and still not now … hmm oh well guess that’s what happens when I left and returned back to Sparta).
Decorating the house is, well, completed.
Landscaping its still just as painful … I keep moving the same palm tree.
Fishing … gawd how many times can one click “cast” … or F2. (I still sorta-not-really do tho … glutton for punishment I guess.)
meh.
Shopping can be fun … but only as “Chunk”, my alter ego who is known to wonder the grid eating popcorn and wearing head-to-toe pink (basically its a bootie-shorts jumpsuit, pink sneakers and pigtails) … oh and *only* with certain people… in the end no *real* shopping occurs, just the occasional popcorn throwing. (Potentially a pic of her shopping this weekend … *if* you’re lucky! hehe)
Maybe its time for a change… again. Status quo blows and is unacceptable.
Please … someone … entertain me!

grrr … how many times do I have to download the stoopid update thingy?! what is the deal?! I had this super artsy-fartsy pic planned … I refuse to do it if I can’t get Windlight to run correctly. What am I doing wrong?! ugh … yes comments are off too … I am not dealing.

Consider me grumpy and not changing. 
Its no secret, I have an alt (or two) but who doesn’t now-a-days?! Both characters have been in game for about a year, and are in my land group and known within my group of friends. I hide nothing. Any visitor to any of my homes (the beach house or main estate), can easily see these alts. (Yes one is a guy … and is a “ken doll”).
I use the female alt as my “spare closet” and the guy is just for giggles. Kinda interesting to shop the grid looking for men’s clothing as there aren’t nearly enough designers for guys!
Others, unlike me, create alts to “hide” from their SLife’s melodramas. I can’t blame those people, as long as they aren’t creating havoc in that av’s wake. The identities created to due harm to others is inexcusable. Alt creation should be for a fun escape not to spy, spread slander or finger point under an assumed alias ’cause you want your main character’s reputation to remain pristine.
If you can’t make a statement as your original AV, then please don’t share your view point. There is no need to cause more drama … its like directing a movie where none of the actors have the script or a puppet master without strings.
*side note: Regardless of what alias is used, if it causes unnecessary drama, get all the facts and surely be ready for the backlash*
Why does today suck? Maybe just becuase its Monday … or maybe its the fact I just can’t get a stitch of clothing on my body. After this snap, my inventory was eaten my the SL monsters, my hair and AO won’t attach and *gasp* my Tiny Empires HUD won’t respond! If I see that little blue box pop up one more time … you know the one – “Unable to create requested object. The request timed out. Please try again. You’re fooked.” Ok so I added the last part. I have decided not to fight it and just consider today a “n00b day” … ya know – naked and bald.
