Posy Trudeau of Civvies and Miau Haus fame has a new venture – Homespun. Inspired by the Depression era of United States, most of her clothes have a very simple, old-fashioned feel but can easily be mixed in with a modern wardrobe.

Homespun opened its doors to the public today at noon with a party and gifts.

Released just moments ago, MaCe, joins the quickly growing men’s skins line at Dutch Touch.

MaCe has three different face options: Basic, Eye Tattoo, and Goatee. This skin was released in three tone: Cream, Olive, and Cocoa.

Dutch Touch has a nice and easy approach to skin development. Not releasing the full line at once but rather a few tones or faces over time. Now the collection is four different skins all with several options.

Just like the women’s skins, this growing collection is well designed and highly acclaimed. Btw, Iki tells me there are new women skins in beta.

Love me some Skin: Dutch Touch & Free Speerit

Dutch Touch just released brand new skins today called FoResT. They come in in 6 tones and numerous makeups. I’m pretty happy to see my tone. Not that  don’t like the other pale ones. There is something about this tone that I really enjoy. Rare that I ever need to tweak my shape for any skins. Dutch Touch has always complimented my shape. FoResT is the one I will wear more often. Next, I’m really excited to show the latest update to Kimberly from Free Speerit. That’s right, its not a new line but a huge addition to the already established and well loved Kimberly collection.  I find this approach to skins unique. Releases like these give those who like the line wanting more and yet luring new customers to the collection. With the new release, Free Speerit has made the eyebrows to be tintable. By the way, the lingerie shown is the new set from Insolence. It’s called Caroline and comes in several light/pale colors. The panty is a french-cut type.

*Review* :: DUTCH TOUCH :: SUn & MOon Skins

:: DUTCH TOUCH :: has been one of my favorite skins to wear.  I typically wear them in my everyday collection.  This new release “MOon” is currently out on the shelves.  While “SUn” will be released later this week, I believe.

MOon is the paler tones where SUn, yup you guessed it, are more bronzed.  Regardless of the tone you choice, there are 12 makeups for your picking.  Each makeup is more unique than the last.  Iki also had reduced her skin prices to an all time low.  Its not only rare to find skins so yummy and inexpensive.  Check out Iki’s flickr stream to see some of the MOon makeups.  Also, click here to see the SUn skins in her flickr.

*Review* Dutch Touch – For the Guys!

Ahhh finally! I can shop at Dutch Touch! I see and hear all the chicas raving about Iki and her store.  Sure, she has had a small men’s line … and now added more items.  Here’s just a small sampling of the new items.

Basics are always hard to come by for us guys.  Not sure why designers don’t spend more time making solid quality tees and sweaters.  Iki totally got this one right.  With her jeans being a two-fer, they are a fantastic buy.  They come in ripped and standard… and, the kicker, they can be worn with or without the prim cuffs. Either way, the jeans look complete with the awesome shading and detailing.

For the tees and sweaters, in typical Dutch Touch style, they range in a wide variety of colors.  Also, they come on mostly all the layers.  I paired the tee and sweater together for the pics.  The tees come with prim cuffs and in two options, round or v-neck.

If you haven’t shopped at Dutch Touch, check ‘em out. Come back often too, I hear there are more and more items added for guys and girls.

*Review* Dutch Touch

I’m so slacking on doing a clothing post for Dutch Touch.  I have a ton to show off!  Iki has been (and still is) busy, busy and more busy.  She has a few new guy things in the works (potentially released by now, if not very soon) and has redone her store layout again. For the chicas, she has a new skin line out (posted earlier) and several new outfits and, of course, seperates.  The majority of her designs have a layered effect.  This means without the jacket there is a cute top underneath.  Sure things may not be created on all the layers but for this, who cares! *Review* :: DUTCH TOUCH :: Skin OnYx

Iki Ikarus of Dutch Touchjust released a new skin called OnYx.  Its a beautiful follow up to Indie, one of my favorite lines.  With OnYx, the makeups are very similar to the others.  The twist on the skins this time is a few new additions. 

For me, I generally wear the Summer tone.  The other tones are just a smooth and milky with the same contouring and shading.  Summer is a soft sunkiss or a slightly bronzey tone.  I may have to get back to relook at those lighter skins.  This is a problem. I want all the tones! 

Like I said, the big draw for this line is the uniqueness of the collection.  Iki has tried a few new variations to the old favs.  Take for instance the henna.  She did a gorgeous detailed mask that is showcased with a pale purple makeup. The colors and tones compliment the face so well.

As far as the body, I don’t see any noticeable changes to the appearance or shading.  Kinda hard to change something that has worked so well since the revamp a few months ago. With the purchase, there is a “pushup” option.  This skin has a more shaded chest to give the appearance of a push up bra or just perky bewbs. Who doesn’t want more perk?!

My only petpeeve for this skin is the lip color. I wish there was a brown-pink tone like the Indie line.  The OnYx line is full of light pinks, purples yellows and greens – perfect for spring.  Perhaps in upcoming lines more eathy tones with a brown lowlight (I love browns in makeups). Iki is continually changing her store’s layout and putting out new product.  The Dutch Touch collections are growing as well as her skins!

Iki passed along of her new releases.  They are so me – black, well textured and tons of layers and two prim skirt choices.  From left to right, its “bra dress” in black and then “ze-bra dress” in pink.  Both dresses come with the two skirt types that are shown, flexi with a lacey under layer and then a sculpty skirt.  Also, both come with the undies layer making it into a beautiful one piece lingerie.  For an added punch, I added in Iki’s other new release, a sheer shirt.  This shirt is just like the other releases she had earlier in the month.  Of course, in :: DUTCH TOUCH :: fashion, the shirt comes in all the shirt layers.

:: DUTCH TOUCH :: has a ton of new products.  Iki has been way busy creating complete outfits to hair.  Seriously she is just getting warmed up! With the store’s new look, she has been hard at work revamping and still keeping true to her urban style.  I really have been a fan of these comfy classics with a raw, urban feel.  Still after all this time of knowing the product, I am still blown away with the amount of layers and the versitility.  Trek on over to DT to see all the styles and colors.

*Review* Dutch Touch – Plaid Salopette

Its hard not to own everything that Dutch Touch offers!  I get slightly carried away in this store … so surely this post will be a rollercoaster. Iki’s lastest release is called Plaid Salopette. Its an adorable plaid dress with a long sleeve tee.  In her wonderful style that I enjoy, it comes in a range of muted tones (shown here are red and grey). The bonus feature is that the hose come in torn and regular. Check out the hint of garter belt that show thru – rawr!  DT has been a great place to find cute tees or jeans or mini skirts.  Did you know there is a full line of skins? I’m wearing one of my favs called Indie.  The skins are not only beautiful matte finish but also very affordable.  Iki just re-laid out the store too.  Come back to Dutch Touch and reexperience the new look and feel – you will be surprised!  Oh yeah, there is more stuff to come from her – hair and sweaters just to name a few!
