[Series] Shopping with HALEY – Part 4

Ahhh… another funky shopping trip with HALEY. After a long and strange week in SL, its good to spend some time with her.  We both understand that we have completely different tastes … but still have a common interest – Shopping (duh!) but gabbing, pose shopping and also love of colors.

Its so rare, ok never, do I wear my fav color, pink, head to toe.  For some reason, when HALEY is around, I find it so easily in my inventory. Yes, I know, I buy a ton of it. Have you seen me wear it like this?

HALEY had this party to head off to … well with her loving all things green (in case you couldn’t tell) she found her way to Bare Rose for a dress.  I think she ended up buy the Fat Pack … and sharing with me and other friends.

We giggled for days over this dress. The silly poofyness along was laughable. Really, its cute. I didn’t start to like it until I found those polkadot socks from LuLu and the color change hair from Eat Rice.  I swear Eat Rice needs more marketing-her designs alone rock… but the hair is awesome!!

Oh yeah, get close to the pic, see the stars? Armi, HALEY’s partner, sent them over to me. He’s a, ummm, particle engineer (ya like that I made up that title). He owns Electric Pixels which is an unusual particle shop. Love it! (Thanks Armi!)

Okay one last pic … but you have to check it out in HALEY’s flickr. She had to take me out this week, kicking and screaming. KIDDING, I love going … but isn’t that pose from Sugar Mill adorable?!  Plus I want everyone to see her talent … she has a *gasps* no photoshop policy. All her pics are unprocessed – ALL her pics!! (Told you we had different tastes!) hehe

[Series] Shopping with HALEY – Part 3

Now here’s a long overdue post: [Series] Shopping with HALEY!!  Don’t ask me what I’ve been doing … I know I was around and same with her.  We attempted to shop a few times together … but ya’ll know, SLife happens. To be honest, shopping with HALEY is just an excuse to let loose and be silly for a change. What a change of pace for me … I swear!

This shopping adventure we headed out to one store (teaser to a future post) but really ended up invading Canimal.  Yes I’m a huge Canimal lovah *worships her shoes* … but really this outfit is way too cute not to show off.  Sometimes chicks just need to be silly and have giggley time.

HALEY totally picked out my colors. I would have chose the black tutu *grins* Ok back to the tutu.  Tons of colors … with coordinating, or in my case, not so coordinating colors.    After catching up on gossip, we traipsed through my inventory for cutesy stuff.  I had no idea I had half of it. wow.  HALEY suggested fun funky fishnets and crowns … completely a detour from my usual path of “tame”.  Again, this is why I blog these shopping trips.

[Series] Shopping with HALEY – Part 2

I knew HALEY was near when I saw those cute little poofing stars when I TP’d in to start our shopping excursion.  After getting caught up on the chick chat and gossip, she points out this oh-so-yummy dress.  Yup, its that delish!

Before I tell you about this dress, first, lemme tell yas about the store, TOSL.  Its hidden away in a treehouse.  If you ever saw me inworld (highly encouraged to IM me at anytime!), you would have seen the cutest wedge shoes and puffy shirt.  I think I wore this for about a week off and on (between events, posts, beach activities, and *blush*) Ummm back to the post, yeah, the post. On the back wall just to the left is this puffy shirt and matching wedges that I frequently reached for in my “closet”.  As you head over to there, stop midway … and you will see this dress.

HALEY picked it out so I can’t take credit for it.  For accessories, we went with the exaggerated updo to match with the dramatically stunning peach dress.  Its called ”Punk Princess” … how appropriate. *grin*  Shopping with HALEY, really brings out a whole other side of my fashion and personality.

She wore the cutest flower dress for the snap … its a garden fairy.  So perfect for her and her all things green. I don’t care if she says its “not green enough”… its adorable! Did you see the short little wings?! Check out her frog slippers … this is why I love shopping with her!

Okay, HALEY, you’re hired! Keep looking for more great stores and things … perhaps that jacket? I will have to look again … but I’m thinking funky slouchy capris or a feathered mini skirt?!

[Series] Shopping with HALEY – Part 1

As soon as I log in I find a fun IM saying to come dance.  After a not-so-great day, it was exactly what I needed.  HALEY Salomon is the Princess of Green (oh yeah she plays Tiny Empires too). Just like my slife is full of all things pink, her’s is green but on steroids, in a good way.

Anywho. HALEY and her friend, Brick, were wearing these cute pants.  I kept checking out these capris… then I asked “where’dya get ‘em”. It was all downhill after that.

HALEY has this loveable personality and such an eye for fashion. I swear she can find anything!!  As a [Series], I would like to bring to you on occasion “Shopping with Haley”.  This [Series] will be about whatever stores or items she brings me to see.

Primitive Design is packed with tons of great items. So stroll to the middle of the store, to see all the different colors.  I did a quick cam of the store… tons of cool punky stuff. I even had a chance to pick up that tank. You might not be into this punky look, but the pants are adorable! The tank is very feminine and blends well with my wardrobe.
