Ain’t that the Truth!

Today’s SLDD was much anticipated by Express and I (and those who hawk the flickr stream…shh its a secret tho). In the minutes leading up to the vendor’s start time, the crowd gathered and doing the pee dance.  The start time came and went and the crowd got, erm, mob-ish. Clicking the vendor repeatedly doesn’t help, btw.

Meanwhile, Express is re-checking the vendor’s scripts and we exchange IMs of “srsly. idk. wtf”. We find Truth … he comes online and the girls went weak in the knees. I kid you not. The marriage proposals flew and I think someone giggled. seriously. She giggled.

Then the comment was made “Someone should make a ‘I survived Truth’s SLDD’ “. Well, someone did. That someone is Lauren Bisiani of T Junction.  The tee is a freebie! Just like today’s event, it will be memorable.

A huge thanks goes to Truth for being such a great sport. The reason as to why the vendor didn’t work will be our secret. <3

If you haven’t gotten the hair today, get it now. you have until midnight slt to pick it up at the vendor’s location. It will be marked at the usual price after midnight. Check the SLDD site for the info. While there, it would really be worth the while to get on the SLDD mailing list. Seriously.

Nyte’N'Day has been so full of win for me lately.  If you ever see me inworld more than likely the last jeans release has been plastered to my body. (Thank god for not needing to do laundry in SL >.<) For this post, I’m showing off the most recent goodness – a super sexy mini dress called Prost and an overcoat named Moitie.

SLDD News

We’ve had a busy afternoon and ended it with just us hanging out. It was a perfect Sunday.

I can’t beleive SL Daily Deals is entering into a third month. We’ve accomplished so much! I’ve nagged Express for such a long time to create this custom scribo. He’s named the system The Mailerator. I really couldn’t be any prouder to have such a wonderful partner. <3

This Mailerator acts similar to other popular systems but with one big difference: it’s sync’d with our website. When a deal goes active, it’ll send an inworld IM to those on the mailing list.  We’re excited to have this new tool. (go here to subscribe)

SLDD has even set up an HQ to help host our mailing list board (the Mailerator) and to give SLDD a home. Feel free to stop by anytime.

No One Expects the Spanish Inquisition

When picking up the SL Daily Deals, I sometimes will explore the shop. Today’s deal is at Ingenue. This store is filled with gorgeous colors and stunning finds. Anything from gowns to comfy classics. Here’s the shocking part … I’m blogging the gown I purchased! I know, even tho those sweaters were calling my name, I’ll keep those for another day.

The new Belleza skin, Alyson, fit my mood today for this picture. Even the jewelry fit the scene. The necklace’s shadow is part of the necklace. Everything just fell together.
