Photo Contest – L.Fauna

L.Fauna has a new face and her name is LOLA. If you’re like me, you wore the LOLA teaser since its launch this past Friday. I’m really quite excited to see the skins released without the bodysuit (and full priced). Also, just this evening, I was given the sneak peek at the first fat pack of the new LOLA. Boy, is she gorgeous!!

Get My Passport!

StoRin created a new set of poses! This new collection is totally fun with the over-sized suitcase.  Each of the 10, yes ten, poses have their own suitcase to attach.  The case is scripted upon touch to change colors. Eight colors in the menu. I’m looking for my passport – I’m ready to travel “Around The World”!

Creamed Corn Wrestling

When Elizabeth told me she had something new planned, it intrigued me. I had no idea she was planning to set the fat pack for sale during her SL Daily Deals day. No. Clue. When I opened the site today I knew I needed to make time to get the set blogged.

Frippery isn’t a store that I see blogged often … and wow, shoppers are missing this brand. The products are top notch for quality and so very whimsical. Its a smaller boutique with a ton of personality.

Speaking of a personality, the blog title was suggested by OMGWTF Barbecue. I think she’s stalking my plurk line just to suggest name posts. This was her second title, check out her first. I’m such a glutton for punishment.

Whippet & Buck love

It wasn’t too hard to sell me on the new one-piece bathing suit from Whippet & Buck. From the time I saw the work in progress photos I made a note to pick up the full fat pack. Then when I heard the price, it was confirmed a fat pack was in my near future.

Whippet & Buck’s clothing is simple, tasteful and so easily blend-able with anything else in my inventory. This bathing suit has a beautiful range of colors. In case the fat pack isn’t your thing, you can pick up the single colors to mini fat packs.

For the photo location, I choose a sim that I visit often called Risk City. It is mature but so highly artistic. If you do visit be prepared for several *cough* couples activities locations tucked around the sim.

Sweet Red Plums

Tiny bird is doing clothing! When I saw the dress I did a double take on the design label. We all know Tiny Bird for hair and the occasional accessory. I really can’t complain that there is now this cute whimsical dress. I honestly would love to see more!

For the background, its a new-to-me designer. Interior Addiction was introduced to me when setting up SL Daily Deals. The store is just filled with so many little things and other larger items and settings like this one shown.

I hope you’re enjoying my new blog style. Its less “oh look I got review copies” and more about my life and fashion from around the grid. Sure I’m still looking at items I receive but I don’t have that need to blog everything. I’m still trying to find a balance.

In Love with Stripes

New Whippet & Buck!! The thing I love about Frilly Little Set is that it can be either lingerie or a ‘kini. There are eight colors (all striped) to choose from.

Life began in a garden

Pose Fair 2010 has opened to the public. Last night I got a sneak peek and I’m now utterly broke. There are so many Posers at the fair that I haven’t seen before. Of course the old favs are there but these “new to me” posers really caught my attention.

As much as I appreciate all the Posers, Tillie’s pose stand keep me sane as I weed through my gazillion poses. With each pose set purchase, they go right into my stand. Its a simple system that allows me to organize all my single poses. Tillie’s stand allows you to create your own sets and store hundreds of poses so very neatly. The best part – its one prim. One. Prim.

I can’t say enough about the stand. Version 3.00 is available at the Pose Fair. I highly recommend testing out the demo. You’ll be amazed and wonder why you didn’t have one before!

As soon as Express decides to wake up sign on to SL, I’ll show off some of the couple poses I collected. I told you I went broke at the fair. Most of the items aren’t that expensive either. Its supporting a terrific cause and experiencing new content creators. Win-Win!

*review* Whippet & Buck

Whippet & Buck launched new things – lingerie and jewelry. Happiness is that very combo.

This is my first time wearing lingerie from this designer and I’m really quite impressed. The back detailing is just as beautiful as the front. Even the colors in the set are dream-like and soft. Just perfect!

Don’t fret if you don’t like to be “covered” when wearing lingerie, the cincher with or without the garters are created on its own layer.

As I noted, “this designer” is not typically part of the WB crew but let’s hope she stays onboard to make more pretty things for us.

The other release is the pearl necklace. When first released it was a Friday Linden Friday item. Now its a regular release in several colors.

I’m looking forward to more items from WB. Its great to have this store releasing items again!
