Shoe Fair: The Location

Shoe Fair’s theme is country and spread over four sims. The four sims are decorated with large barns that are booths for the designers and haybales for supporting creators. Along the path there are also fences, silos, and cornfields. Not only do the sims load in super fast but look just as good. Its honestly a pleasure to wonder through the dirty tracks to each of the barns.

Shoe Fair: The Charity

The reason for this year’s Shoe Fair is not only for all of us to collect stunning shoes but to help support a real life charity. This year’s charity is Soles4Souls.

Soles4Souls collects gently used shoes to be distributed around the world to those in need. For every $1usd donated equls a pair of shoes. Imagine what everyone can do if we all buy just one pair of shoes at the Shoe Fair … and you know, no one is walking away with just one pair!

Lola’s Colors

Lola is full of color. So much so that I think I broke my CS5′s gif makerthingamajig. Please be prepared for some serious photo spam. You’ll just have to forgive me just this one. This skin deserves something and this something is a photo-montage.

Miss Launa Fauna will be launching Lola’s 2nd makeup pack very shortly. I love that she keeps her makeups in small packages of 5. Its manageable and small enough quite easily to fall in love with each of the personalities.

The incoming photos (after the cut) will make it quite clear as to why I’ve followed this skin created fro the past 3 years. L.Fauna, as its known today, was the first skin brand I religiously trailed. Just recently, she’s become a great friend of mine. Regardless of the friendship, the dorky fangirl still slips out when I see new makeups … and usually in-front of her. wow. I’m a dork.

A little cheer

I don’t typically shop the entire lists of any of the special price day marketing thingies. This week, like the others, I shopped with my blogging partner, Scarlet. We only picked a few of the designers, she more than me.

Tiny Bird and Reek have FLF items this week in addition to new releases. Using Scarlet to help show off the new items is perfect. Usually I wear the all white attire but not this time. I have so many wonderful colors in my inventory that I just never wear.

Tons of stuff going on this afternoon. Express and I were just relaxing after us running around picking up new releases. He went off to Phoenix Rising before they ended their 1L sale. I went over to Tableau for the summer sale.

Sneak Peek: Phoenix Rising Lingerie

Phoenix Rising is expanding their reach into the fashion world with the soon to be launched lingerie line. Yes, soon to be … as in tomorrow! You don’t have to wait oh so long for these gems to be in your hands.

Be prepared for a few more photos. I know, I don’t usually do a photo heavy post. There are just so many lingerie sets I could barely choose a fav let alone one for a post. I choose 3 to show off today.

For the post I chose the ones that are more fuller coverage. This type of lingerie seems to be the trend in SL. And thankfully! The lingerie is stunning and the same level of quality of the Phoenix Rising clothing. We all know I’m not a stranger to this brand as I’ve showed them off in prior posts and even appear in an in-store ad board.

I’m sure just like you all, I was just as excited and curious about the lingerie. If you’re on plurk, you would have seem some of the teasers. Finally with the previews in my hands, I can tell you – this is ranking up there with the other greats of lingerie.

My Sunday Morning

This skirt has all those things I love for skirts: long and lots of movement. I would rather have a closet full of long, floor length, slim skirts than short minis. Sure, short skirts have a ton of personality. For me, a long skirt is sleek and packs a punch.

For the last 2 days, I’ve changed my top numerous times. I went from a bikini tons to a simple cloth tie, showing lots of belly. I finally settled on a top that make it look like a dress.  The white colors don’t match identically but for me, that’s what makes it so beachy and appropriate for this setting.
