Doll Face
Hey you! I’m back, and today I’m going to show you the sweetest outfit Ill ever put together! Past few days ago, I was hanging around the grid, shopping, hunting lucky chairs (did you know you can find the cutest things in lucky chairs? ) and even receiving guest at my place wearing this outfit! I didn’t know there were such cute things in Lucky Chairs, but you won’t fool me anymore! I’ll wait until there’s an A in that chair!! I have spent hours and hours waiting for an A in Mezzo, to get this cute school bag I am carrying today! Isn’t awesome? Mezzo was an unknown store for me, japanese, small and with accessories for every taste! Doesn’t have many things yet, but I found cool things, like the bag and the belt I am wearing, both with animations on it! The belt is amazing, and has lots of stuff, meaning prims – and it looks so cute!

Carnie Flair
After I rezzed the invite for Festivale‘s PreParty Opening, I got nervous. I had nothing to wear to fit this theme. So I turned to my fashion consultant, Express Zenovka, for advice and to help. Of course, he was already dressed! Express pops over to help check out what I do have before really going out to shop. After seeing his pink and green “clown”, I got so inspired!
We dashed over to *katat0nik* for the ruffled dresses. I was so not use to having a guy that knows about fashion and having opinions about things I wear. Kinda diggin’ it, ya know! We went one by one through each of the dresses … that was until I saw “Very Cherry”. I was slightly too anxious to buy but with his calmness I kept looking … still coming back to this one dress.
The “Very Cherry” is not my usual flair but so worth the $600L for all the layers and that adorable mini hat. I think I was really sold on the Fleur de Lis pasties (shh don’t tell anyone).
Heading back to my studio, I knew exactly what boots I wanted and currently had in inventory. During the recent Dilly Dolls $25L sale, I picked up the wedgey boots. Again not my usual pick and not really sure why I got them. Sure they are cute but completely functional (fully scripted with color change on all the pieces and sizeablilty). Maybe that’s why I couldn’t resist! One goofy thing is that one sole is slightly too large and its no mod. Not really noticeable but a nag in the back of my perfectionist’s mind.
Moving along, I needed to break up the cherry theme. I tossed on argyle stockings from Sn@tch and tinted them to green to bring out the pinks and green detailing. This addition is subtle but really pulls together the pink and greens in the dress and boots.
The hair is another element tinted. It started as Pink Burnt and ended up berry toned to match the deeper pink tones in the hat and dress. Tinting is a skill I need to develop more but pretty easy to do making anything blend better.
Choosing the right skin was the true challenge. The nipples on most skins are large not being able to hide behind the pasties. Thankfully, I had an awesome freebie, or maybe it was really a dollarbie from Frick. I was so focused on the nipple size, I wasn’t paying much attention to the makeups. Until I cammed away to look at the overall look, I realized this makeup was the perfect look. Soft hot pink lips and the eye makeup flourishes with the Cake lashes were spot on! … and the nipples fit the pasties!
Even popped on that AO from Ana_mation again. You know, the one I mentioned in the last mashup post. The AO is called TomBoy … and helped finish the look. Time to party!
I really need to send a huge thanks to Ex for the help. Even tho at the party he confessing that he pointed me to this direction to “match” him. Little stinker! *hugs*

Festivale
Dove Swanson of Long Awkward Pose and Autumn of Pixel Dust have finally completed an amazingly unique themed sim, Festivale. I’m loving the carnival themes that run completely through their own stores and the mini shopping district.
Earier today, I ran back over to browse the other aspects of the sim. Photogs, get out your cameras, tons of niches that are perfect for pics!

Annah Croft
And now, you must be thinking I am nuts! What is on with this title?! Well, I am… kinda! LoL I have discovered this amazing boots at Bukka, and the moment I saw it I clicked on buy without thinking twice! After that I start thinking and I even commented with boyfriend and friends “why do I need this kind of boots? It’s not like I hang out like Lara Croft or something”. Well, maybe I do hang out like Lara Croft! I was lucky to grab the belt at the lucky chair in Bukka too (after several hours I admit!) and that’s how Annah become Annah Croft! Ok, can I go back to the belt now? The belt is amazing and it totally fits the spirit – it has maps and a compass…
I got all adventurous and even got some guns to get in the spirit – ok I just brought the demos home, ‘cuz it’s not like I am going to really shoot someone! The skin is an offer from Tuli, I don’t know from when, but it’s perfect! I have all this bruises in my face and for the hair I needed a simple ponytail, nothing too preppy! So I put on the Philotic Energy simple ponytail – I modified it a little, to take the bangs out of my eyes… I mean if I need to shoot a panther I need to see the panther and not my hair in front of my eyes…
What I have also modified is the skirt. This skirt comes with a belt and I don’t need 2 belts, so I removed the belt attached to the skirt to make this look. And to finish it, the leather jacket from Ce Cubic Effect and the afghan stole from :sey:
Now I am totally ready to venture myself into ancient tombs and ruins. And even to encounter some enemies along the way. Bring them on!!! Byeeeee

My Inner TomBoy
Oh hey, it’s me. I needed to find my password for this thingie … *blows the dust off my login information*
Thanks to Ann for keepin’ on keepin’ on. Since she said I need to get off my ass … I decided to post. With the recent newness that Ann has brought to the blog, I have spent more $L than needed in the past week. She even got my lazy bones out shopping … but I think that was more my doing than hers. That’s for another post tho …
In my shopping, I’m finding I’m starting to branch out. My colors are changing and my usuals aren’t being the first to be bought. Could this me wanting to finally break out this effin’ funk I’ve been in?! Whatever this is, I’m going with it.
I was off scouring for sneakers when I found this camo and lace mini skirt. Not much to it which is why my eye was drawn. What I really liked is that I paired it with a strapless bustier from MichaMi. The bustier is a new addition to my closet and goes so well with the mini jacket. These three pieces compliment and reveal a long looking torso.
ShinyThings released new boots that I needed. Yes, needed. Here’s my attempt at a “surplus” type of look. I really didn’t think the boots were me at first until I started stalking them. I’m an impulse buyer for classics. As soon as its out of my comfort zone, like these, I tend to be more hesitant.
I’m a clean classics girl, that will never change. Meshing classics with hints of intrique of other genres leads to interesting mashups. Another great combo I like is the Aden hair. Its the bang of one style blended with a full wig of another.
What really does it for me is the over-the-shoulder bag. I don’t think I would have thought the outfit was complete without this one accessory. The bag is something that breaks up the colors and still pulls together the overall look. The hint of orange is fantastic. Even the torn chocolate socks help with the color blending and adding interest.
Oops almost forgot, the skin. The-best-deal - $47L. Its a great skin with a ton of personality. Check out the eye – soft and smokey with a hard eyeline. Super cute with a tiny snake-bit lip ring. Nothing harsh, just enough.
The best way to finish this look and to make it tangible is the AO. The new release from Ana_Mations called Tomboy plays so insanely well for this look. Even the bag flows with the animations and not getting “caught” in funky out of the body positions.
Off to find the next inspiration. Oh yeah, don’t tell Ann I bought the boots, k?

The show must go on…
… and since Luna is being a lazy ass, I’ll post for you!
So there I was! Working on blender in something I had in mind for a new outfit! Oops, am I able to advertise here?!?! Anyway, yeah I am the designer behind *AnnaH* (which will rebrand soon, just for you to know) and I was trying to do something in blender – I can’t tell you what – and the stubborn doesn’t save my work… so hours working and the bastard just made it clear that it doesn’t want me to finish this project!
How do you recover from something like that, you ask! I SHOP! Yeah, if I can’t sell, I can’t spend! And the moment I saw this hair from [gisele] – totally unknown store for me – I knew I had to buy it. Actually I bought more than the hair: I bought the necklace also and another hair that is as cool as this one! It is totally different from my daily style, but it is so 20′s and it made me think of Charleston. I didn’t have a 20′s dress, but I found this one at nikukyu (another discover) and I think it really fits the spirit! I did some modifications in the dress, attaching the flexi skirt to my left pec, so I could use both – flexi and sculpted – at the same time!
As you may notice I don’t change skin a lot. I mean blowpop and my beloved Pink Portia will always be my favorites, but I wanted a skin tone a bit lighter than my usual caramel – to contrast the black hair – and also something dramatic, but that didn’t steal all the attention. I found this Rockberry skin lost in my inventory! It is a lucky board gift I own when I was at the store! I was not “hunting” for prizes, but luckily the A was there!
Now, my lovelies, the show must go on, and I need a party to go! I feel like dancing! Byeeee

I was thrilled when Luna asked me if I wanted to do some random guest posts in here! I am really excited, but I am totally scared, cause I am not the fashionista type!
As an introdution of myself I have to say that I am not a shopping addict, except when it comes to hair and shoes, and lately acessoires! I know nothing in SL, and most of the stores you go are totally unknown to me! I don’t follow the trends, so what’s old for you, may be my lastest discover! I don’t spend unreasonable ammounts of lindens in the most cool shops, as I prefer small cozy stores and small ammounts. I love to teleport from store to store, just to look at the shelves and think “hmm I wish I could have that” – it is kinda masochist, but that’s how I feed my desires!
About me and Luna, we are good friends, and I know her style, and how she uses the items on her closet, though everytime we hang out we are in lingerie (long story – don’t ask or she wouldn’t allow me to write here anymore!). The style I’ve put together and that I use yesterday while shopping around is something I think she wouldn’t wear as an outfit, though she might use the separate parts! But as she told me, that’s why she invited me to do this – ‘cuz I jump from style to style, and from blonde to brunette and I rarely use a complete outfit from a store! I prefer separates! She wants diversity, and I will certainly try!

{mashup} Unusually Unique
My brain is epic.fail. I have been working on the SHAPLES Island opening and blogging at Kunglers that I kinda forgot to do work for myself. I adore all those I help … but forget to do things for me.
With that in mind, I spent the weekend shopping. I picked up newness at Deviant Kitties, like I need more hair, right?! Generally I do the whole brown pack coloring but not this time. I purchased the brown tips. Ok so it wasn’t that far of a stretch but, still, its different.
I even scoped out skin places. Somehow survived without buying a single skin. Altho I have my eye on a few. Instead I pulled out the folder marked “Check out for later’. Guess what, its later! I’m liking the heavy gothy eye with the Deviant Kitties wig.
Laughing, at this point, I’m wearing those new bras and jeans from Dutch Touch and this wig and skin. Not the right combo for my mood. I slipped into another great product from Dutch Touch, Lunna. Stealing the pants, still in the flower bra as a top, I leave SHAPLES and dash over to Coco.
Coco is a new-to-me store. Its packed with goodness that I now own … oy that was a hurt to my linden balance. The jacket-shirt combo looks fabbo with the Dutch Touch pants, right?! Great textures to pair together.
With the teeny little bow in the hair, coloring it red, I tossed on my other new-to-me store shoes. They are from Dilly Dolls. Not-so-overly cutesy goth dresses and … oh-so-good shoes! These are fully scripted with an extensive menu for color, size and texture. Slightly overwhelming like Christmas morning as a kid, but worth the under $200L.
Ok I’m off to create more trouble.
