*Review* Doppelganger Inc. – Junebug Dress

YAY! More newness from Doppelganger Inc. This time a tea length dress in two different patterns called Junebug. The patterns to choose from are gingham or a patchwork called Madras.  Junebug is created, just like the other items I have seen, on all the layers.  The best part, there is a bonus color (worn by Scarlet) in the fat pack.  Junebug can be found at Doppelganger’s +Rad and Bill location.

*Review* Sh*t Happens & Rebel Hope Designs

I decided to put together two of my current review pieces. Rebel Hope Designs has released new boots called Milan.  Theses boots come in a wide range of colors … and look great with the new release from Sh*t Happens.

*Review* .::tyranny Designs::.

New at Tyranny Designs! Grandma’s Kerchief comes in a complete set. Yes, the shoes too. I did get the aqua color instead but the included brown shoes are just as cute. Something new for this release, in case you don’t like all the elements or want other colors, Tyr tells me that she’s offering it in separates. I was more than excited to hear that and instantly started my shopping list. On my list are the socks and shoes in all the colors … well really the whole outfit in all the different colors.

Every aspect of this outfit is just incredibly detailed. In my chat with Tyr, she tells me to expect more hand-drawn surprises. Also, there is a new build in store for her shop but I’m not sharing what inspired it.

~mashup~ Pressed for Time

Express and I attended the reopening of Hair Solutions last night. I was sorta pressed for time to get dressed before the sim filled. The outfit really was a rushed thing but turned out kinda cool. With the addition of Kia’s new hair… it gave the vavavoom element!

Even though this post is about the outfit, I wanted to give ya’ll a nudge to go to Hair Solutions. Kia updated her textures and released other cute styles. There is another hair I want and surely will be showing off in an future post.

For the outfit, its all about the leather. From the hat to the corseted jumpsuit, I’m in love. The only thing that I fussed with, taking the most time was finding the right shirt to fit under the corset. Yeah I could have worn what came with it but, eh, I wanted something not so typical or expected. The pop-collar and the plunging neckline, the shirt was perfect.

Boots for shoes. Yeah, a high stiletto wouldn’t make much of an impact.  Tall boots are just so damn sexy. Fishnets finish the look for the leg. Its a shame I didn’t photog the back… they have a seam running up the leg.  I have enough butt shots on my flickr stream so I skipped that view.

*Review* Nyte'N'Day

Nothing makes more happy to see a designer who I’ve liked since my first shopping spree still doing well now.  Its rare to see a designer like Nyte Caligari still appeal to a long time resident like me. Her designs are still classic and have evolved with the SL trends.

Nyte’N'Day products, like these releases, have their own personality.  Each of the elements can stand alone so they can be worn with other pieces from the store or your own closet.

If you haven’t taken the time to revisit Nyte’N'Day since your early SL days, go back. I’m sure you will be so surprised to see tons of new things and still at affordable prices!

*Review* []::Tuli::[] Clothing

I was so excited to see one of my favorite skin designers, []::Tuli::[], release clothing. Yup, Tuli took a little break from skin designing to set out a line of dresses, shirts, and capris.  I have to admit, I saw her out and about a few weeks back and stalked her store for the wide collar shirt.  When it wasn’t in the store, I knew for sure, Tuli had something in the works.

Kinda nice to see the []::Tuli::[] brand being recognized for more than just skins. In the opposite corner of the newly re-decorated store, you will find a full line of clothing. Each time I would shop for skins, I took the time to check out the clothing. Regardless of how many times I go back, I end up buying more. (I really should just buy the fat packs!) If you haven’t already seen the clothing for yourself, please do take the time and browse all the clothing.

Ever find a lil ol’ store that is filled with goodness that you want to tell everyone? I’m tellin’ ya, check out ::EmJay:: Designs. Magen Jigsaw, the store’s owner, has created a ton darling designs that are perfect for us who are on a budget. Scarlet was perfect for showing off the halter dress. Several colors to choose from that won’t break the bank.

*Review* Doppelganger Inc.

Doppelganger Inc. has several locations but I found them at Starlust ‘A La Mode. Nestled in the corner, its packed with stuff for guys and girls from tees to shorts and now these dresses and bikinis.

With Scarlet’s dark toned skin, I couldn’t resist putting these dresses on her. The vibrant colors look great on her so I let her take the spotlight.  The Messina dresses come in three different patterns and each in three unique colors. Don’t worry, there are packs of pastels and jewel tones in case brights aren’t your thing.  (Price: $200L; Buy all three packs: $500L)

For the boardwalk bikinis, the come in plaids, strips and polka dots. All in a variety of summer tones. The hip hugging bottoms boast a triple ruffle adding a little flirtyness for the dairy-air. The bra has a matching ruffle too. the style can be worn with or without the ruffles too … but really, its too cute not add the ruffles. For the price, just the dresses, you will get three bikinis in three unique colors. Just have to pick out the pattern – good lucking doing that; they are just too cute. (Price: $150L; Buy all three packs: $400L)

Doppelganger Inc. is new to me. I was very pleased to see the quality is excellent and all the items are created in all the layers.  My only wish is that the dress top has wear-ability not as a dress, meaning as a top.  The other items offered at the store would be cute to mix with the top. For the price, its not a deal breaker since there are 3 dresses in the pack.
