52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Taupe

Week Twelve of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge starts today!

This week was another nail biter. It is suppose to be a challenge … but this is getting silly. Each week I think I have something for a look then it turns into something totally different. I can’t resist new things! Its a weakness. Each new item has me styling an entire different look than I had planned.

Speaking of new things, I’ve been going nearly broke each week due to getting all those “oh I want” things I see on everyone’s blog. Its really amazing that I don’t see as many things repeated each week. The group has a ton of personality all unique and different.

Thank you all for the love and support of my challenge. When this challenge started, I’d asked on plurk for some color selection help. If I remember correctly, Week Thirteen was a favorite color of a few of us taking on the challenge. I’ve tried to use most of the suggestions offered or a slight variation so keep a close eye on the colors as the week pass.

I always thought of taupe as a lighter brown but apparently it run the spectrum from dark to light to rose-tinted to grayish. I sure am learning more than I ever thought I’d know about obscure colors! LOL
