52 Weeks of Color: 15 Favorites

As our final-final post in the first round of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, we’re showing off our own 15 favorite photos that we created for the challenge. We all created a trunk ton of photos and squirreled them away in a flickr group or own own flickr sets. This post is show off the photos we created ourselves that we loved this past year.

Looking back in my own flickr set is a real trip down blog memory lane. This past year I’ve upgraded my computer, updated my WindLight setting and really advanced my Photoshop skills. I’d love to hear about your past year… do you see changes in your own blog/photos?

Weeks of Color Challenge: Orange

This is it. This is the FINAL post for my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. No more colors. No more racing to be the first to post your link in the comments. No more anxiety over what to wear (and changing 4234 times). No more counting down the weeks.

What we are left with is Friendship! We have become this merry band of blogggers in our little group. I want to keep the momentum going. We will have one last post to close the challenge: 15 Favorites. I’ll create a post, just like how I do the color challenge. It will list the instructions for the 15 Favorites and give a place for you guys to drop your links in the comments. Again, just like how we do the color challenge posts and comments.

Also, I’d like to announce, cue the drum roll, I’ll hold this challenge again! Yup, a new set of 52 colors. This time, I’ll ask the group for their colors and what they would like to see. This second round will start on January 1, 2012, which happens to be a Sunday.

Thank you all for supporting, reading, creating blog posts, photos and clothing/items for us to showcase. The following for this challenge is really just epic. Its something I never ever dreamed of let alone expected for my little blog. I’m thrilled so many are (or soon will be) able to say “I completed the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge”. Its an remarkable feat. Be proud. I know I am of you.

No more tears, no more being sad. Let’s close this challenge as friends… ‘cuz we’re gonna to rally again for “52WoCC-Part Duex”. Make sure you add me to your blog rolls and readers and bookmarks so you don’t miss the kick off!

Weeks of Color Challenge: Cream

Week 51 of 52 Weeks of Color Challenge kinda snuck up on me. We plowed through the weeks and cranked out some really awesome posts. It also hit me that this is the second-to-last post. I’m kinda down about it but thrilled too. Tons of mixed emotions.

Just so we can have a good feeling at the end of the challenge, remember to do your Favorite 15. This post will show 15 of your favorite photos that you’ve done during the challenge. So why not share these in your own blog post. Don’t worry I’ll do a detailed post about this while showing my fifteen favorites. It will be kinda like a recap, a way to say goodbye to this challenge and be a badge of sorts too.

Also, lots of you asked about my Windlight settings so I did an updated version of my current setting for you to download.

Weeks of Color Challenge: Mulberry

This is Week 50 of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. Not including this week, there are are only two weeks and two color remain. I’m not going to say goodbye to the challenge or all the friends I’ve made. I will; however, close this part of the challenge.

To pay homage to this first round of the Color Challenge, I’d like to pose an extra post after the 52 colors are completed. This one will be 15 of your favorite colors. After the 52nd color post, I’ll do “15 favorite” post, like I’ve done for past week’s, and you can add your blog link in the comments. Don’t worry, it will be easy to make a mosaic of the 15 photos so you don’t flood the feeds or have this endless stream of photos on your blog.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Wenge

We’re in our final month for my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. Its sad but also relieved to say Week 49! This challenge has been so remarkable. I was totally and completely unsure about this challenge. I had no idea that it would turn out to be such a hit. Like you all, I’ve had weeks dreading the color. What you all didn’t have was the master color list. When I created the schedule, I tossed in Wenge and got giddy with excitement when it was fast approaching. Not until today when I realized I too need to complete the color did I curse myself.

Now that this monster of a strange color is done (well at least for me *insert evil laugh*), I see only three colors left. Ya know, they don’t seem to be so hard. One of my favorites is in two weeks … dun dun dunnnn.

Just to remember the challenge’s one rule … please!

It’s Week 48 of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge!

Boy what do you say that hasn’t been said in the past 47 posts. Well, there are 4 weeks left to this round. There still are some hidden tricky colors left. For instance, Week 49. Yikes! Any time you need to see the color, I’ve added the color chip on my blog. They don’t pull onto the feeds (or at least not to my knowledge).

And by the way, I’m dressed this week! Its the first time I’ve shown lingerie. Of course my highest viewed posts are those of me pants-less like Week 37 and Week 46. Funny I would have thought the full nude post would have been more popular. Regardless, I love looking back at all these posts and photos!

The last five weeks of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge starts now. After all this time, I’m still amazed we have so many following along. The inworld group still is chatty and so very friendly. Even the flickr crowd is still growing.

I’ve seen more folks starting the challenge. Its great to see everyone welcoming and supporting them. If I’m to do this challenge again, don’t worry it won’t be right away. More than likely a few weeks or months later. This will help those to catch up. Or so I hope!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Brick Red

Week 46 of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge kicks off today. Until next Friday evening (my time!), we’ll be searching for Brick Red items. Thankfully this one was in my inventory. The group told me it was ok to go pantsless and I gave into peer pressure! haha

Another item the group talked about was colors we didn’t like. I want to apologize now for next week’s color. Oh, I see the remaining 6 colors. There are some very interesting choices. We’re going to leave this round of the challenge really strong!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Bronze

Week 45 of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge starts today! We’ll have all week to post photos of our Bronze items.

I’ve been eyeing this gown for such a long time. Finally have a reason to buy it! Never did I think I would blog this many gowns during the challenge… but well I love using the “color challenge” excuse for shopping. Of course there are some great designers supporting our shopping addiction. If you get stuck for something, just check my blog’s side bar for ideas on where to shop. Or you can ask in our inworld group.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Firebrick

Well hello there, Week 44 of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge! This marks the final six weeks of this challenge. Sigh.

This week’s color is in honor of my nation’s upcoming holiday, Labor Day. Knowing about this time, some stores will typically offer an item or two in a red color. Firebrick, or so I hope, could just be one of those colors that will be easy to find.

I’m hoping the remaining weeks will be easy. Spying the short list, I see a few colors that I did a mental face-palm as its close to *cough* another color. But there’s one, that’s, well, I’m not sure what color it is! Kinda like Patriarch. We were amazed and some still think I made up that color! lol Anywho, check out the color chips I posted below to see the colors. I think the color list is oozing into the Autumn weather (again if you’re in my part of the world!).
